When students from Little Elementary showed up at Martin High School for the Re-LEAF event to help replace trees destroyed during the tornado last April, the first thing they noticed was how the shovels were bigger than they were. Brian J. stands just a wee bit taller than 4 feet, but boy can he zip through a mile. Rams are City Champs
When a season is far from smooth, as was the case with Bailey Junior High volleyball team, it pays to have patience. Going into the playoffs, Bailey wasn't even the top team out of its own division, at least not outright. The Lady Rams tied with Nichols and Shackelford for top spot in the North Zone.
