See Meeker. Alibaba-invested e-commerce company Baozun from Shanghai raised $110 million in a NASDAQ IPO but without the fanfare and lift of its lead investor. Baozun is the second Chinese technology company to list in NY in 2015. Beijing-based GroupOn like Wowo Ltd. raised $40 million in an IPO in April. Many Chinese companies have been opting to go public in China, capitalizing on the booming A share market. See Baozun. Bangalore-based e-commerce site Flipkart has raised $550 million at a valuation of $15 billion, catapulting the Indian startup into a new league of most highly valued companies in the world. A comparable is China's smartphone maker Xiaomi, which raised $1.1 billion at a $45 billion market valuation in December 2014. Read Flipkart.
