Chinese Startups Cue Up IPOs After Drought
As Alibaba prepares to go public in New York, IT education service Tarena International became the first listing of the year from China, on NASDQAQ.
A handful of Chinese companies seek to go public this quarter in the U.S.
China's travel booking site Tuniu filed recently. SINA Weibo, China's Twitter, could be next. Chinese companies are recovering from the doldrums of 2012 when keep reading Forbes post, drought ending.

China Counts on Forbes Midas 2014 List
About 20% of the top 100 venture capitalists ranked on the Forbes Midas list have been active deal makers in China. Among them are VCs Hans Tung, Jenny Lee (above), Richard Liu (above), Neil Shen, Hurst Lin, David Yuan -- and all are in the Silicon Dragon network!

China Bitcoin exchange BTC China backed by Lightspeed Faces Cooldown. Ceyuan funds rival OKCoin with $10M.

Raise Capital has raised an inaugural fund of $100 million to invest in emerging markets. Ex-Tiger Global investor Nazar Yasin (pictured above) is managing partner at the new fund and has deep deal experience in such markets as China and Russia.
GSR Ventures partner and serial entrepreneur Jack Jia has raised nearly $7 million for his startup, lifestyle tips app Trusper. DCM led the deal.
Intel Capital is launching a $100 million fund to invest in smart devices in China.
AUSTRALIASIA
New investment in business software company Atlassian values it at $3.3 billion. Accel originally backed the startup, its only outside VC financing. Now,
T. Rowe Price and Dragoneer Investment Capital will purchase up to $150 million from existing shareholders.
