| CSOFT CEO Shunee Yee with Silicon Dragon founder in Sanya |
CSOFT Goes for a Soft Touch
in Scaling Outside China
Chinese startup CSOFT International celebrated its 10th anniversary with a two-day program of experts speaking about globalization trends in the so-called localization business.
I attended the summit in Beijing and Sanya, the Hawaii of China. CSOFT would never have become a profitable player in this market without the visionary leadership of its very determined leader, Shunee Yee (pictured above with me).
Read the Forbes post, CSOFT in Sanya.

China Still Likely To Take Over
Tech Leadership If And When
Silicon Valley Slips
The center of tech innovation may not be shifting quite so fast to the East as once predicted. KPMG surveyed 811 technology executives globally and found that one-third believe the Valley will likely lose tech leadership to an overseas market within just four years. That percentage might seem high, but it compares with nearly half in last year's survey.
Which country will lead in disruptive breakthroughs? The U.S. solidifies its long-standing as the world's tech giant while China has slipped in stature from a year ago, according to the survey. In last year's poll, the U.S. and China were tied for the top spot.
Read Forbes post on the KPMG survey results.
Disclosure: I'm writing the thought leadership paper that draws the conclusions from this report based on interviews with tech leaders.
The publication will be out soon. Stay tuned!
Which country shows the most promise for
disruptive breakthroughs with global impact?

37% picked the US
24% selected China
