Adopt-a-Family Program makes kids smile!
As you may have seen in a recent facebook post, this year we were able to provide 677 children in this community with holiday gifts. Thats 677 children who had smiles on their faces instead of sadness. Thats 677 parents who didn't let their children down. And its all because of those of you who joined our Adopt-a-Family program this year. Thank you!
In one mom's own words:
Dear Donor: No words can express my gratitude to you. In these happy festive times people can't wait to make their families happy. In my case, it's a time of stress, a feeling of failure and helplessness for not being able to provide for my three girls. I just want you to know, when you sit at your holiday table, you should be not just happy, proud and special for making someone happy as well, for making a little girl smile, for making a teenager feel she/he can fit in. When my children were born, I sort of ceased to live for me. I live for them. No words can describe how much I am grateful to you, to god for bringing Angels like you my way and be assured you'll get it back, someday, somehow. - From a mother of three children.
