MDA Shamrocks Against Dystrophy & Snoopy's
 Manager, Sherri Morris, and the crew at Snoopy's on Wake Forest Rd. won the Pot of Gold by selling the most shamrocks ($933) during this year's campaign to send kids with MD to camp. A total of $2199 was raised among the 5 Snoopy's stores.
The MDA is a volunteer health agency that is the nation's largest  non-governmental fundraiser of neuromuscular research, health care services and education. The research is seeking treatments and cures for more than 40 neuromuscular diseases, including Parkinson's disease and Lou Gehrig's disease. To learn more, click here.

Green Pea Salad 
This is a simple make-ahead cold side dish that's good with a lot of meals. Mix together:
1 15 oz. can Le Sueur very young small peas
(or frozen peas, thawed & patted dry)
1cup chopped celery
1 cup shredded (not fine) sharp cheddar cheese
(or cheddar cheese cubed small)
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp celery salt
1 T minced onion
2 T diced pimento
dash of pepper
Drain the peas thoroughly. Toss together other ingredients and fold in the peas gently. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
