Good morning,
Thank you for choosing Sprouting Melodies! I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Kristina and I am the Sprouting Melodies Coordinator and facilitator for our Wednesday classes. As an extra perk for the families enrolled in class, I send out weekly emails to offer new songs, resources, and tips on music and your child's development. One of our intentions for Sprouting Melodies is to support caregivers in learning about early childhood development, and so these emails are meant to augment your experience both in and out of class and provide you with helpful information. You will also hear your Sprouting Melodies Provider share tips on development in class. Remember to add my email address, Kristina@romanmusictherapy.com, to your contacts list so that the emails reach your inbox!
What to Expect
We are located on Main Street in Melrose upstairs from Coffee Tea & Me. There is street parking available as well as two parking lots, one behind our building, and one across the street. Parking can be tricky at times, so you are welcome to come in early and settle into the space.
You may leave strollers outside the door or around the corner of the building near Eastern Bank. If your stroller is a small umbrella stroller that can be folded, you can bring it up with you and leave it in the hallway. If you have twins or siblings and need assistance getting upstairs, please don't hesitate to call us. We are more than happy to help you! When you enter the office, you will be greeted by Jen, our Admin and Marketing Assistant, or Nichole, our new Operations Manager. They are there to help you get settled in and they will have name tags for you and your little one.
There are coat racks for you to place your coats, and space to leave your bags so that the little ones aren't tempted to dig out your snacks or cell phone in the music room! There will be drums and small percussion instruments set up for you to explore when you arrive, so jump right in and make music! The more fun you have, the more fun your little one will have.
