Good morning,
I am so glad that I got to meet several of you this past weekend covering Katie's Saturday classes while she was away! It was a pleasure getting to meet you in person and I was so happy to hear that many of you recognized me from the videos I have sent in the weekly emails.
I wanted to share with you a fun song by Elizabeth Schwartz that was posted to the Sprouting Melodies Sing at Home blog. You may recognize the tune of the song as the melody from "Christmas in Killarney." This song is very catchy and so much fun to sing. It embodies the feeling of gathering to make music together and how special the bonding experience can be! The song is called:
"I'm Glad that We're Together" by Elizabeth Schwartz
"I am glad you'll come
And have some fun
We'll shake maracas and play the drum
I'm glad that we're together to make some music today.
There's me and you. And you and me.
And then there's you and then there's me.
I'm glad that we're together to make some music today."
