Sing To Stay Warm January 26, 2016

Good Morning,
I had a request from a parent to share some of the songs we are doing in class so that you can sing it at home. Now that the weather is getting colder, it's time to bundle up. The songs below will help you to stay warm and make that transition out into the cold more enjoyable!
"The Snow Is Falling" is a song that I learned from Meredith Pizzi, which she learned from her internship supervisor, and now business partner, Elizabeth Schwartz. It is a great song for learning body part identification while singing about the winter season.
"When It's Cold" was written by a former employee, Sarah Tree. She wrote it in her internship to the tune of "If You're Happy And You Know It." It is a great song for identifying articles of clothing that are relevant for the winter season. The song can also help older children start sequencing what came first and next. Sing this song when you are putting on your winter gear for a smooth transition out of the house, and have some fun!
