Good morning,
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what we are thankful for, and to say thank you to others who do so much for us. Gratitude is an important quality for us to have and is also something that young children need to learn and develop. Children under the age of 3 may not outwardly show gratitude. You can teach your children how to be thankful by modeling for them as early as their first year. It may take a while to get that well deserved "thank you for all you do day in and day out to keep me happy and safe," but you can certainly start to instill the idea of gratitude in your kids. In the section below, I provided a link to the Sprouting Melodies sing at home blog by Elizabeth Schwartz with a new song to model saying thank you.
Thank you all for sharing in the joy of music with us in Sprouting Melodies. It is a pleasure to get to know each and every one of you! I would like to say a special thank you to one of our Sprouting Melodies moms, Christy Dole, for sharing her story of balancing raising her daughter and starting a new business for our blog.
