Family Sprouts November 10, 2015

Good morning,
My Wednesday Family Sprouts (0-5 y/o) class has a large range of ages participating this session. I wanted to highlight the group in this weeks email because there are so many great things happening!
One parent commented that she was so happy to see her five month old actually grasping and holding a maraca this week. A sibling pair in the class sat together on Mom's lap this week during the lap ride song and shared in close bonding time, successfully playing with each other (and Mom). Two one-year-old friends in the class, who have been coming to Sprouting Melodies for several sessions now, are demonstrating their trust and independence by showing all the other kids how to participate in each experience.
One thing I love about Family Sprouts is the way we use music and different techniques within each experience to appropriately support each child wherever they are developmentally. If you have a question on how to better engage with your child during an experience, ask your Sprouting Melodies Provider for suggestions! Whether your child is receiving too much stimulation from the group and needs more one-on-one interaction with you to successfully engage, or is roaming around the room because they need even more stimulation to engage, there is a way to adapt to any need that arises!
