Falling Into Fun September 15, 2015

Good morning,
Thank you for joining us as we fall into fun in our Fall 1 session of Sprouting Melodies. It is great to see many of you back from our summer sessions, and some familiar faces from our spring sessions. For those of you who are new to Sprouting Melodies, welcome!
It's September! Summer went by so fast and now the kids are off to school. We are starting to see those yellow school buses everywhere. Below I recorded our "Yellow School Bus" lap ride song for you to learn and sing at home. This song is great for bonding between siblings especially when one is off to school on the bus every morning. It can help you get back into the routine of getting ready for school, and is a fun way to assist in your child's transition back to school. For those who are too young for the bus, this song can teach them about their world as they start to notice the school buses everywhere!

Something's A Little Bit Different!

The Melrose Victorian Fair was on Sunday, and was a great success! We had several new families sign up to test drive a class this week, so we are excited to meet some new friends and make music with them.
You may also notice yellow post it notes on the walls on Friday or Saturday, and those of you who are coming Wednesday will see them as well. We had a positive post it note party to celebrate our team and pass some sunshine around. Meredith heard about this trend through a news story to rally against bullying. She tried this with her kids at home and said that it was a huge success. She noted that it really helped to shake some of the stress off of being a parent when walking around the house and seeing positive and loving notes everywhere! We have post it note pads available if you would like to put some up while you are at our office, and think about how you can bring the positivity home with you!
