Good Morning,

This week I wanted to highlight one of our own Sprouting Melodies families from Laura's Friday class. I was so excited to learn that one of our families made my fire truck lap ride song their own by changing the words to apply to their child's interests. 

In class we encourage you as the adults to sing along so that you can learn the songs and sing them at home. The music goes home with you and continues even after class has ended. Don't forget that you too can create music and lyrics to meet your child's needs or interests in the moment. Whether it be piggy backing a song you learned in class by using the same tune and changing the lyrics or making up a new song all together. Let the music be your sidekick in helping with transitions such as bedtime or getting in the car seat.
