Good Morning,

Winter is here! That means bundling up and bracing the cold. One of the parents in my classes requested that I record the winter songs we used in class to learn for use at home. These songs are great for playing in the snow, or preparing to leave the house with proper attire for the cold. 

"The Snow Is Falling" is a song that I learned from Meredith Pizzi, which she learned from her internship supervisor, and now business partner, Elizabeth Schwartz. It is a great song for learning body part identification while singing about the winter season.

"When It's Cold" was written by our very own Music Therapist and Sprouting Melodies Provider, Sarah Tree. She wrote it in her internship to the tune of "If You're Happy And You Know It." It is a great song for identifying articles of clothing that are relevant for the winter season. The song can also help older children start sequencing what came first and next. Sing this song when you are putting on your winter gear for a smooth transition out of the house, and have some fun!
