Halloween Is Coming October 27, 2014

"Uh-oh, Where did I go?"
Good Morning,
Welcome to Fall Session II. We are glad to see several familiar faces, and new ones as well.
Halloween is coming! We may associate Halloween with excitement and fun, but for young children, the costumes and masks can be scary and anxiety producing. In the video below, Elizabeth Schwartz MT-BC, co-founder of Sprouting Melodies, shares a new song to help young children understand that even if we disappear underneath a cover or a costume, we are still the same. Try singing this song at home with your little one this week in preparation for the holiday.
Remember, this week in class we welcome you to wear your Halloween costumes. Happy Halloween, and I'll see you in class!

A New Song

Halloween
"Who's that underneath the cover?
Who's that? I wonder who I see.
Who's that underneath the cover?
Take it off, It's me, just me!
Me, me, me.
Me, me, me.
Me, me, me.
Me."
