Plato, the Greek philosopher and founder of the first institution of higher education in the western world, once said:

Justice means minding one's own business
and not meddling with other men's concerns.

In the great tradition of scholarly debate, when it comes to social justice, I think Plato couldn't be more wrong. Fortunately, many at the McCormack Graduate School share my opinion.  

May Aydin is the new director for the information and technology services program at the National Science Foundation in Washington, D.C.

Daniel Sieger, chief of staff at the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, was named assistant secretary for the environment, filling a key post on Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Matt Beaton's team.

Kudos to Gerontology PhD alumna Michelle Washko who has taken on a new position as deputy director at U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' National Center for Health Workforce Analysis.
