Message from Dean Ira A. Jackson

 | Governor Deval Patrick and Dean Ira A. Jackson |
Instead of our traditional monthly newsletter, I wanted to offer you some "light summer reading."
To that end, we have prepared this mashup as illustrative of the kind of intellectual "wows" that reflect the academic and intellectual strengths and achievements that characterize the McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies.
Maybe not beach material but fun facts that convey the energy, passion, and commitment of our community here on Columbia Point.

Kudos to Mary Grant, Public Affairs '86 and former director of our Center for Social Policy, who has been appointed the new chancellor for the University of North Carolina Asheville. Grant will be leaving her current post as president of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, a position she has held for 12 years.
