Spotlight on Students and Graduates
Message from Dean Ira A. Jackson

Leonardo da Vinci once said, " ... people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things."

Reflecting on last week's Commencement ceremony-my second at the McCormack Graduate School-this adage strikes me as relevant to both our newest alumni and our current graduate students. Enrolling in a graduate program takes both a can-do attitude and perseverance; going beyond the classroom to meaningfully engage in the world takes an added dose of courage.
