PSC Partners Funded $390,000 for PSC Research in 2013.
This year, the PSC Partners Scientific and Medical Advisory Committee (SMAC) received numerous applications for research on PSC. Following careful review, the PSC Partners SMAC, and subsequently, the Board of Directors, agreed to award seven grants internationally for promising research towards new treatments and a better understanding of PSC. Included among them is a grant for pediatric PSC research.

Who are the people behind PSC Partners? People who give their heart and soul to PSC Partners' mission of finding a cure for PSC? One of them is Ken Shepherd, Vice Chair of PSC Partners. In his life outside PSC Partners, he is the Managing Partner of two Northern Virginia Toyota dealerships and has been in the retail automotive industry for thirty-one years.

 PSC Partners 2013 Save the Day Fundraising CampaignThe 2013 Save the Day campaign was different from all PSC Partners fundraisers to date. With great success from all of our 2013 Save the Day fundraisers the current total raised is $188,840. The loss of this campaign's beloved founder and passionate and creative leader, Sandi Pearlman, and Philip Burke, her equally beloved colleague who co-ran the PSC Partners Facebook site with her, brought about a spontaneous outpouring of support from PSC Partners members and friends.
