2013 Sedona Winefest Vendors  

Sedona Winefest is offering "Early Bird Specials" for the 2013 Sedona Winefest Vendors.  They are seeking food, dessert and merchandise/product vendors. Last year the Sedona Winefest brought in over 3500+ participants with 71% traveling over 200 miles just for this event.  A great time to get your product and company in front of thousands of tourist and there is limited spaces available so please register early at sedonawinefest.com.  

 

Dollar for Pounds program  

Dollars for Pounds is a partnership between OCWC and the business community in which volunteers pledge to help Keep Oak Creek Beautiful by removing litter and trash from areas of Oak Creek where there is concentrated recreation. OCWC seeks support of local Proud Sponsors to pledge $1 for every pound of trash removed. March 6: OLLI Lunch and Learn  

Joel DeTar, president of the "Sedona 30," will speak at the OLLI Lunch and Learn Wednesday, March 6 from 12:30 - 2:00 pm. The Sedona 30 is a group of dedicated local community leaders and businessmen, whose purpose is "to work toward the betterment of the Sedona".  Lunch & Learn is a "town square" for local residents to gather, chat, and interact with speakers who do interesting and important things in town. March 7: Career Fair Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Sedona
Thursday, March 7, from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm at RRHS Gym, 500 - 600 Sedona area high school students will have the opportunity to speak with representatives of various professions to explore career choices. Representatives of the following professions are still needed: Marine Biology, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Robotics, Chemist, Space Sciences, and Sports Management. March 15-16: Book Signing for The Sedona Hiking Guide Book

"The Sedona Hiking Guide Book" provides 2D shaded relief maps, over 120 images, trail data, driving map and the best trails in Sedona. The book will also introduce QR code technology that will take the reader to an online video of the trail set to music and commentary. April 6: Loven Family Run to benefit Verde Valley Hospice Home

The 2nd Annual Loven Family Run to benefit the Verde Valley Hospice Home is set for Saturday, April 6 at the Blazin' M Ranch in Cottonwood. April 26-28: Sedona Artists Hold 10th Annual Open Studios Tour  

Artists will welcome the public into their studios on Friday thru Sunday, April 26 - 28. SVAC artists are from all over the Verde Valley working in the mediums of photography, jewelry, ceramics, painting and sculpture, to name just a few.
