Mt. Bethel UMC

We struggle when we talk about our faith. We so often don't know how to use it in a sentence. I've been in places where a person is trying to describe what it means to be a Christian to them, and they say things like, "when I started my walk with Christ," or "when I began living my life a different way." We want to use the word faith, but we don't know how. It is hard to implement a word into a sentence when you're not real sure what it means. I believe it is because faith is not something tangible. We can't reach out and grab it. Faith is not simple. But how can we try to simplify it? As Christians, first and foremost, but also as Methodists, we need to be able to explain what it means to be a person of the Christian faith.

This Sunday, let's look at what our faith means to us and how it doesn't have to be difficult to understand or explain. Join me at 9:30 or 11am in the Sanctuary as we unpack "Faith Made Simple."
