WOW!

We had several "Wow" events last weekend! Our Disciple Now was stupendous with nearly 500 middle and high school students, 130 college students and 130 host homes, plus another 300 volunteers! There is no way to adequately express our appreciation to all who helped make it a stupendous wow!

Sunday morning was another "Wow" with nearly 4,000 people in worship! We set a new record in the nurseries with 50-plus toddlers! That is proof positive that Mt. Bethel's future looks bright.

Sunday afternoon's Administrative Council meeting on the Jewish Center's property was another "Wow!"  A very special thank you goes to our kitchen staff and Men's Ministry for the cookout! The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed touring the property. The surprise on everyone's face was most evident when they saw the beautiful land and all it offers. With just a modest amount of remodeling, four classrooms, cafeteria, administration will be ready for this fall's freshman class. Our Recreation Ministry, Student Ministry and Scouting Ministries will be able to use the facilities immediately!

Our Finance Committee presented another "Wow" when it revealed that the property can be acquired, with the help of our Academy, without it affecting Mt. Bethel's budget. Another "Wow" was witnessed when the Academy revealed that their "silent financial campaign" has already raised several million dollars.

The final "Wow" of the day was the unanimous vote of our Administrative Council to recommend the entire "Mt. Bethel North proposal" to our Church Conference! If our Church Conference (to be held Sunday, March 2, in the Sanctuary at 12:15pm) votes to accept the Administrative Council's recommendation to purchase and remodel the property, we can be in ministry by June 2014!

Someone on the Administrative Council expressed it well when he said, "God's Hands are all over this . . . Wow!"

See you Sunday at the "God's Wow Place!"
