The children made collection cups and took home the cups and a letter to parents on January 12. Short-Term Mission to West Virginia | March 27-30

We will work with people living in extreme poverty in this  beautiful area of Appalachia. No construction projects. We assist people there by delivering sack lunches, assembling food boxes and back pack lunches for local schools and help support a small, local church as they work to serve their own community. This can be a meaningful event for your Sunday School or small group. Contact Larry Armstrong for details.

Our Joys and Concerns

The Paschal Candle burns in honor of the baptism of Davis Oliver Hogan, son of Chris & Brandy Hogan.

The rosebuds on the altar are in honor of the births of Judah Isaac Bernhardt, son of Brian & Elise Bernhardt, on January 16, 2014; and Caroline Grace Irvine, daughter of Ryan & Ashley Irvine and granddaughter of Ginny Mateer, on January 14, 2014.

We extend Christian sympathy to Larry, Dottie, Vanessa & Jason Beard in the loss of Dottie's mother, Jean O'Keef; and to Des & Mary Yawn, Ben & Amy Barnes and Ryan, Crysie, Parker & Chase Grelecki in the loss of Mary's father, Bruce Freyermunt. May God hold you in the palm of His hand during this time of grief.
