Cindy will show you how to navigate the SSA systems and key ages for your planning and the impact each one can have on your payments.
Annual Thanksgiving Communion Service | Wednesday, November 27 | 7pm | Sanctuary
Join us for one of the traditional, yet unique, worship services of the year. This special time of sharing thanks (if one desires) is a great opportunity to experience the warmth of God's love. Invite your visiting family and friends.
Operation Christmas Child
Bring your shoebox gifts to one of the services on Sunday, November 24, for Operation Christmas Child Dedication Sunday. The ministry's mission is to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to needy children around the world. All you need is an empty shoebox and a few toys and personal items designated for a girl or boy in a specific age category. Visit Samaritan Purse for information on how to pack a shoebox, as well as how to track your box to its destination. Begin your Christmas season by sharing the gift of hope and joy with a needy child.
MUST Ministries Toy Drive
Christmas morning is exciting for the 4,500 children whose struggling parents come to shop at the MUST Toy Shop. Children in Cherokee and Cobb counties receive toys, blankets, stocking stuffers, hats, scarves, gloves, school supplies and a family game. We will be collecting NEW toys and gifts for children of all ages at the "Happy Birthday, Jesus" party and in collection bins throughout the Preschool department. MUST Ministries could especially use our help finding gifts for tweens and teens. Suggestions are jewelry, sports equipment, make-up, blow dryers, and curling irons. Wallets, purses, fleeces, and hand-held games are also needed. Thank you in advance for your donation and making this Christmas a little brighter for someone else! If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact Dave Erwin.
