The Friends in Faith Evening Circle would like to thank all who participated in Ribbons & Holly. The sale made over $8,000 for missions. The Bake Sale made over $1,550, thanks to the wonderful bakers.

Mt. Bethel's Career Ministry will meet on Tuesday, November 12 from 6:30 to 8:00pm at Mt. Bethel's Community Center (4608 Lower Roswell Road near the corner of Woodlawn Drive). Career Counseling & resume review. Experienced Human Resources professionals give 1-on-1 attention to each job seeker and will cover any topic which relates to job search strategy. Depending on each person's individual needs we will discuss Employment Branding/Resume, Using Technology (Job Boards), LinkedIn, Interviewing Tips and any other relevant topics. Bridging the gap between Social Security and Retirement - Wednesday, November 20, 6:30-8:30pm in the Chapel. Make plans to join us as Cindy Lundquist, a veteran of the Social Security Administration for almost 30 years, discusses how to bridge the gap between Social Security and retirement. Whether you are looking for yourself or interested to learn more to assist your parents with the decisions that are upcoming, you won't want to miss this event. Cindy will show you how to navigate the SSA systems and key ages for your planning and the impact each one can have on your payments. Costa Rica Women's Retreat team needs one to two more women for the retreat February 2-6. Cost of the trip is $1500 which includes plane ticket and funding for the retreat. The team works with Zulay Palermo, the Methodist Bishop's wife there in Costa Rica. Please contact Millie Atkinson if you are interested. Quilting for Christ and the Costa Rica Missions Team are looking for donations of sewing machines and cotton fabrics to benefit the women of Costa Rica and local missions. This year's annual Carols for Christmas Concert is entitled "Somewhere in My Memory" and will be a light-hearted, family-friendly program that evokes memories of Christmases past that we all hold dear. Students and Parents - our Spring Break Mission Trip Registration is Open! 7th & 8th Grade Student/Parent trip to Puerto Rico - $1500 per mission team, March 29-April 4 9th & 10th Grade to New York City - $575 - March 30-April 5 11th & 12th Grade to Belize - $850 - March 29-April 4 Register online. Coffee and fellowship will be from 9:30 to 10:00; program begins at 10:00. Rev. Kim McGarr and Sandy Weber will be our speakers. Their topic will be, "Support goes hand-in-hand with caring." The Lynn Smith Circle will meet on Wednesday, November 13, at 12 noon in B118. Our circle is a service-oriented group of women mostly 50 and over. Light refreshments are provided at the meeting. Recreation Ministry - Follow us on Facebook Youth Basketball: Practices have begun. You will receive a practice/game schedule at your first practice. Be sure and get one. Master schedule is also posted online. Boys High School Basketball: Now Registering. Mt. Bethel's CCL (Christian Community League) is a recreational high school boys basketball league. Play begins in late November and consists of seven games and a tournament. Must not be on a Varsity Team. Contact Brian for more information or come to the CAC to register your team. Register as a team. Hurry, deadline is Friday November 15. Fitness: We offer classes in boot camp, barre, Zumba, body sculpting, weights, cardio, yoga, pilates and more.
