"We make a Living by what we get.
We make a Life by what we give."

Sir Winston Churchill

His quote defined his view of life.  It also catches the spirit of our Living Generously series.  In this Holy season of Lent, as we consider our commitment to Christ and His cause, let us be reminded of God's generosity to each of us, and let us live the abundant joy that only He can provide.

Celebration Sunday is March 3 - On the last Sunday of our church-wide sermon series, we ask that children join their parents as we worship together as a church family. The 8:15, 9:30 & 11:00 Sanctuary services will meet as usual, but the 11:00 contemporary service will join the Sanctuary service. We will offer nursery and God's Garden for ages 3 & 4 during the 9:30 & 11:00 services. There will be no children's Sunday school, Kid's Quest, POD, Middle School or High School activities. The idea is for the entire family to worship together! We encourage adult Sunday school classes to meet with your children. Please let Gayle Haden know if you are not meeting (gayle.haden@mtbethel.org).

Please understand, we are continuing with all other MUST related support activities including, but not limited to: food donations, financial support, counseling, laundry services, meal preparation and volunteering at their Elizabeth Inn shelter and other locations. In the future, if you have clothes and household goods to donate, please take them to the MUST donation center -- open Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-5pm, 1210-B Kennestone Circle (just off Cobb Parkway), Marietta, GA, 678-581-8090, or to one of the local thrift stores/donation centers.
