| FEBRUARY READING RECOMMENDATIONS | | Hot Reads for Cold Nights
February is the month of romance. Our Readers Club team offers romance reading recommendations to warm up your cold winter nights.
Scarlet Nights
by Jude Deveraux
"Mike appears through a trapdoor in the floor of Sara's apartment just as her fiancé has disappeared - mere weeks before she is set to marry Greg Anders. Mike has come to Edilean, Virginia as part of an undercover case. It seems that Greg is after Sara because of something she will inherit. Unfortunately, he doesn't know what Greg wants or how he can use it to get to Greg's mother, another criminal wanted by the FBI. Mike's investigation centers on Sara, and as they spend more time together, they begin to realize that their feelings go well beyond the boundaries of this case. Packed with romantic tension and suspense, Scarlet Nights takes readers back to the town that Jude Deveraux introduced in Lavender Morning and Days of Gold." ~Reviewed by Christine B.
by Julie Garwood (Visit the author's web site)
"Dr. Ellie Sullivan is getting ready to go back to her childhood home for her sister's wedding. As she is taking an afternoon jog, she witnesses a shooting. It seems an FBI sting operation did not go as planned. As she works to save the wounded FBI agent, the bad guys take notice. FBI agent Max Daniels takes it upon himself to keep her safe. As they both arrive in South Carolina, trouble is not far behind. It seems like Ellie's past is not as in the past as she would like. Will Ellie and Max be able to trust each other and stay safe?" ~Reviewed by Angela A.
How to Woo A Reluctant Lady
by Sabrina Jeffries (Visit the author's web site | Read our Author Interview )
"Mix one part crazy family, one part bluestocking writer and ten parts hot romance and you get How to Woo a Reluctant Lady, the third installment in the Halstead Hellions Series. Lady Minerva is the next in line to be forced into wedlock to appease her grandmother. Nine years ago Giles Masters broke her heart, now as the villain in all of her gothic novels he must stop her vengeful pen before it reveals too much about his secret life. With just enough twists and turns to keep the reader guessing, Sabrina Jeffries delivers a story that is both entertaining and passionate. This is a quick read that leaves the reader asking, which Hellion will be next??" ~Reviewed by Sally W.

Mick, who is a cop, tries to catch him, but in the process discovers a set of condemning photos that illustrate her uncle's involvement in a brutal murder. Knowing that, because she has seen the photos, her own life is now in danger, she decides to help Jason escape. Mick's attraction to Jason is undeniable, even as danger pursues them around every corner.
