We held the first of our Coffee House Conversations at The Rack in Maplewood this June. Our goal is to host more informal and timely gatherings to discuss issues in the community and the nation as they arise. Held the day after the Charleston, SC murders, people came motivated to address the sources and solutions to hatred, fear, and racism here and beyond.
Organized by the SOMA Clergy Council, The Coalition on Race joined in the vigil to stand in solidarity with the families and the friends of the slain Charleston Nine and to stand for our conviction that intentional integration and true inclusion are part of the solution. Read more...
Parents learned how to navigate the CHS Handbook and Course Catalog, plus they got advice from parents who have been through the process on how to help kids plan their schedules to meet their post- high school goals.
