We have had such a great time with all of the folks from all over the country (really!) who have come by the shop for the Row by Row Shop Hop. If you have not picked up your free pattern yet - be sure and come by on Tuesday, September 2nd, as it is the LAST DAY of the Row by Row Hop.

Fall classes will start soon - we have a great array of classes and still have a few to add for October and November. The annual September book sale starts on Tuesday, Christmas quilt samples are done and hanging on the wall, new Kaffe Fassett fabrics and some wonderful Hoffman batiks are on their way to us - life is good here at the shop!

Change is good, change is good......I have tackled the project of redoing the newsletter format - hopefully the new format makes the newsletter easier to read on mobile devices. Let me know what you think, and whether or not the new format works well on your phone or tablet.

New Hand Embroidery Group

Quilted Strait Embroidery Group will meet on the second Sunday of each month at 11 am. The first meeting will be Sunday, September 14, 2014.

If you are passionate about embroidery or even just slightly interested come and hang out with other embroiderers at Quilted Strait on a Sunday afternoon. Bring your embroidery project and share enthusiasm and ideas. All embroiders are welcome, any level of expertise and any kind of project. Bring your latest redwork project, your crazy quilt squares or perhaps the wool applique and embroidery project you always meant to start, or bring along the embroidered needle case you are working on from the latest Inspirations magazine or Crabapple Hill pattern. There is no charge to participate in this group and no formal instruction - just shared interest in embroidery and needlework! Contact Kris for more information
