NOTE: THERE WAS A HICCUP IN LAST WEEK'S DELIVERY, SO WE ARE SENDING OUT LAST WEEK'S ISSUE NOW! APOLOGIES FOR THE SLIGHTLY STALE NEWS.
Are you a student and around this summer? Jonesing already for connecting with your queer peers? TWO different meet-ups at the Cantu are being dreamed up but we need your feedback to see if there's enough interest! 1) Interested in an LGBTQIA RPG group (sort of like a Summer Geeks) that would meet bi-monthly and play games like Dungeons and Dragons, Arkham Horror, and other exciting adventure games? We would probably meet during the weekend, but let us hear from you about your interest and availability! 2) Wednesday Weekly Lunch. If enough folks are interested, we'll host a drop-in space to bring your lunch and hang out with other queer/allied students. The Cantu will provide some healthy snacks, too! Dining halls & campus restaurants open during the summer are here.If you're interested in either of these events, please email Dillon Teal of QSU here.
Let your queer voice be heard!
Take the UC Undergraduate Experience Survey, make a difference, and get a chance to win one of three iPad Airs, $100 gift cards, and other prizes! June 30th deadline. Take it here!

Some folks are confused about whether or not the Cantu is open during the summer. The answer is: a resounding YES.
Our hours are 9-5, Mondays through Fridays.
However, . . . since our staff is barebones during the summer, it is advised to call before you walk up the hill. Call both lines: 459.2468 general and 459.4385, Director Deb's line. Stop by for the company, for support, for books from our library, to chill after class, to talk with us about program ideas for next year, etc.
You're queer? We're here!
