The bilingual Program Coordinator is responsible for running STRANGE, a vibrant county-wide youth program for LGBTQ youth and their allies in collaboration with the youth program coordinator at our community partner, Encompass Community Service. The Cant� is ALL about getting ready to honor and celebrate our Class of 2014 Rainbow Grads! DO join us for Rainbow Ceremony THIS Thursday at 4 pm at the Women's Center. Our keynote speaker is Monica Jones, trans* activist from Phoenix. Literature Professor Ronaldo Wilson will give remarks along with six student speakers! Enjoy the dancing of Los Mejicas and a feast at the reception! Graduates: it's not too late to join in the ceremony, but you must contact us ASAP!

Through a variety of mediums, we will explore the difficult terrain of gender and sexual identity, how race differentiates the responses and experiences of children and youth, and the role that schools play in the construction of these identities. Info: errgreen@ucsc.edu
