With Labor Day approaching and many of our summer residents leaving us, we want to once again remind them and our year round residents that MIPOA property and rights of way are NOT WINTER BOAT STORAGE AREAS!

PLEASE REMOVE ALL BOATS, WINDSURFERS, AND OTHER "STUFF" BY NOVEMBER 1st FROM MIPOA RIGHTS OF WAY....and not return them until April 1st.

Dear Mason's Island Neighbors,

Rights of way (example, Skiff Lane) are not to be treated as storage areas for boats after October 31. Since 2012, Mason's Island Property Owners Association has instructed all owners of boats, windsurfers and other objects on our property to be removed.   If you have any problems with this, please let us know so that we do not believe they are abandoned property.

These rights of way have been wonderfully maintained by neighbors or adjoining property owners and we thank them for that.   It makes our community look nice and we are proud of that.

If you have any questions about this, please contact me.

Thank you,
Cathy Marco, President of MIPOAboats1  [email protected]

REMINDER:

(From Page 18 of the GUIDELINES Book)
Boats over 20 feet in length, house trailers, recreation vehicles, tractors and backhoes, farm equipment business vehicles and inoperable autos are not to be stored on properties.  The Board recommends that all boats and trailers be stored in garages or boat yards or a commercial storage facility.   If boats of less than 20 feet in length are stored outside, the Board recommends they are stored off the road and out of sight from neighbors to the extent possible and that their covers be of dark green or brown (not bright blue or white).
