Greetings!

 

As one year ends, another begins. In reflecting on this past year, what do you discover? What intentions did you set at the beginning of 2013? What expansion have you seen and what new intentions do you want to set for 2014?

Intentions come from the heart and soul - they are rooted in the values that are most important to you. An intention is connected to your life's purpose, and is a specific way of expressing it at a given time in your life. 
 
We create our realities by the stories we tell. We can tell stories about the past and we can design stories to move into. A turning point in my life was when I began to consciously work on transforming my own stories which weren't serving me. Changing my story took time and practice. And it changed my reality.
 
How are you telling your story? What kind of life are you creating? What do you want to create next? 

Here are a few questions to reflect on as you consider what your next "chapter" is going to be:
  1. What am I celebrating? What am I grateful for? What has been wonderful and magical about this past year?
  2. What is one aspect about myself that I have especially loved this year? What am I proud of?
  3. What would I have done differently this year?
  4. What do I want to let go of?
  5. What do I want to call in for the new year?
Over the last few months I have been reflecting on these inquiries and others. One of the questions that has come up for me is, "How can I facilitate a container for myself and others that encourages becoming our authentic self with expanded perspectives? How we can manifest healing and peace? What does oneness mean and how can I become part of the change that needs to occur?"

The Alchemy of Transformation

What is your soul's true purpose in this lifetime? What yearnings deep within you have yet to be revealed? Do you feel in balance within and without? What are your gifts and talents that are longing to be expressed?
 
The intention of this ongoing mentorship program is to provide a safe container for deep inner reflection of one's gifts and talents and to facilitate personal empowerment and transformation through the alchemical process of exploration and ritual.
 
During the six sessions we will explore:
  • Personal creation story: Why am I here? Who am I as a spiritual being?
  • Divine masculine/feminine: What does it mean to be in balance with this principle?Oneness/Ubuntu: What does it mean to be in alignment with the Oneness of all and within my community?
  • Nature: How do I connect in a meaningful way? What is my relationship with Mother Earth?
  • My gifts/talents: What are my gifts and talents that want to be expressed in the world?
  • Bringing it all together

Each session will be a combination of instruction and spiritual exploration through shamanic journeying, meditation, art, and ritual.

 

Where: Private residence in Laguna Beach, CA

When: 6 Saturday meetings beginning in February, 2014

(Meet every other month from 9:30am-6:00pm)

 

Fee: $135 per session. First & last due at registration

Exploring Shamanic Journeying

INTRODUCTION TO JOURNEYING 

When: Sundays, 11:00 - 1:00 pm 
(Jan 12, March 23, May 4, July 13, Sept 14, 2014) 
Where: Private residence, Laguna Beach, CA 
Fee: $40 per session 
 
(Prior to the session I ask that you read Sandra Ingerman's book, Shamanic Journeying: A Beginner's Guide)
 
This is a two-hour introduction to shamanic journeying. Most participants stay for the afternoon session of "Beyond the Basics" to practice their new skills. 
 
In this class we will connect with our power animals and compassionate spirit allies for the purpose of healing ourselves and our communities. This is an experiential course where we will enter non-ordinary reality using the shamanic journey and other techniques. Journeying is the foundational tool for shamanic study and healing and provides the passageway that has been used for centuries to obtain information from other dimensions, realms, and realities. Through the journeying process, you can receive information, knowledge and wisdom which you can utilize for solving problems, gaining clarity about life's circumstances, or simply to build your awareness and understanding of the different worlds beyond. Journeying is a perfect way to learn what direction is needed in your life to facilitate wholeness.

Fee: $40 per session  
(You do not need to attend all sessions but reservation is required as space is limited) 
 
Journeying is the foundational tool for shamanic study and healing and provides a passageway to obtain information from other dimensions, realms, and realities. Join Gretchen to expand on previous journeying experiences, deepening your relationship with your Power Animals, Upper World Teachers, and the Spirits of Nature. 
 
Prerequisites: At least one successful shamanic journey
