Mysteries of the Unseen World
The EcoTarium, 222 Harrington Way, Worcester, will debut Mysteries of the Unseen World, an original production by National Geographic Entertainment and Days End Pictures, narrated by Forest Whitaker at its Alden Digital Planetarium on Saturday, October 11th. The film adventure will take audiences on an extraordinary journey into unseen worlds and hidden dimensions beyond our normal vision to uncover the mysteries of things too fast, too sow, too small or simply invisible. The film's debut kicks off a five-year, multi-faceted partnership between the museum and National Geographic. Click here for a sneak peek.
The EcoTarium is the first museum partner in New England, and one of fewer than ten other museums in the United States to have this exclusive partnership with National Geographic, which will include rebranding of the theater as well as special access to one of the world's largest and most diverse libraries of award-winning science, nature and adventure films. The museum will commit a portion of programming each year exclusively to National Geographic films, the majority of which have been made available for the digital full-dome format to accommodate venues like the Alden Planetarium.
