OTL Concert Series celebrates Sustainability Week

Go Green, Go Out to Lunch!

Worcester -The Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series at the Worcester Common Oval, 455 Main Street, Worcester, will celebrate Sustainability this week, on Thursday, August 7th, featuring sixties rock with Throwback from the 1960's and a variety of new vendors offering ways to lessen your carbon footprint.

Habitat for Humanity's ReStore, see how you can use recycled building materials for your home improvement projects.
Trunk and Disorderly, Main Street's consignment fashions
Preservation Worcester, offering a walk around the Common to learn ways of being green through historic preservation
Worcester Regional Medical Corps, promoting personal sustainability through health and wellness; and
the alpacas from Plain View Farm are back! Check out why these fuzzy and lovey animals produce warm, snuggly fleece while also making unique pets.

Come also for the fresh veggies from the Regional Environmental Council's Mobile Market, Schultz Farm, and Renaissance Farms; along side the delectable treats from Rose 32 Bread and Nummy Nummies. Stock up on handmade goat milk soap from Little House Homestead, and clever products from Just 4 U and Crafty Creations by Michelle. Grab your lunchtime meal from Livia's Dish, Eric's LaPatisserie, the Dogfather, or the Loving Hut and top it off with frozen yogurt from Wooberry.

Farmers market, food vendors and artisan marketplace open at 11 a.m. Main stage concert runs 12 noon to 2 p.m. Worcester Children's Chorus will perform during a brief intermission.

The Out to Lunch Concert Series continues every Thursday through August 21st. On August 14th, join us for Latin Day! Listen to the sounds of the Matthew Sanchez y su Orqesta and watch the dance stylings of Raices Latin Dance. On August 21st, the Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series will wrap up with R&B band East Coast Soul along with an intermission performance by Central Mass Dance Academy.

Be sure to bring a school supply for Worcester's children in need on August 14th and 21st and drop it off at the Planting the Seed Foundation's booth.
