Out to Lunch Concert Series & Farmers Market
It was a looooong cold winter indeed. But now it's time to turn up the heat, and the music! The Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series & Farmers Market returns to the Worcester Common Oval, 455 Main Street, Worcester, on Thursday, June 19th. Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers will bring their fusion of country, Americana, soul, reggae and blues to the Oval to open things up with a bang! Series will continue every  Thursday between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. with a dynamic line up of live entertainment surrounded by an expanded Farmers Market, food vendors and artisan marketplace. Third Thursdays Movies on the Common
Catch some stars, under the stars.. movie stars that is, as Worcester Film Works presents Third Thursdays Movies on the Common the third Thursday of the month for June, July and August. Perhaps dear old dad would enjoy a trip back in time... Old Sturbridge Village, 1 Old Sturbridge Village Road, Sturbridge, will celebrate Father's Day by extending free admission to all dads on Sunday, June 15th. Throughout the weekend, Saturday & Sunday, June 14th & 15th, more than 50 singers, dancers, musicians and artists will converge on OSV to showcase their talents and highlight 19th-century popular music and art. Excellent Exhibits
Eight Elements at Craft Center

The Worcester Center for Crafts, 25 Sagamore Road, Worcester, Artists-in-Residence will come together for a stunning debut opening Thursday, June 5th and running through the 28th. The show, entitled Eight Elements, is the culmination of the artists' one or two year residency working primarily in glass and ceramics. Featured artists include Dan Battat, Steve Blez, Stephanie Chubbuck, Ariana Kolins, Dan Roe, Tomo Sakai, Emery Wenger and Emilee Wooten. Admission to the exhibit is free and open to the public. The ONE you must see
ArtsWorcester, 660 Main Street, Worcester, will celebrate its summer open-member exhibit ONE, Redux on Friday, June 6th from 6-8 p.m. The exhibit features works that members most wanted to exhibit, regardless of theme, media or content. Admission is free and open to the public. Gallery will be open Thursdays - Saturdays 12 noon - 4 p.m. through June 28th. Be sure to bring your WOO Card to swipe for WOO points

Degree of Overlap
Eighteen artists, all recent graduate of Assumption College who majored in studio art and/or graphic design will present their final projects collectively as an exhibit, Degree of Overlap, opening Saturday, June 7th 6-8 p.m. at the Sprinkler Factory Gallery, 38 Harlow Street, Worcester. The exhibition contains over 60 works of art in various mediums including crochet, graphic design, illustration, oil paintings, photography, raku pottery, typography, video installation and visual illusions. Darker Shades of Red 
Explore Soviet propaganda from the Cold War Era in a dynamic new exhibit, Darker Shades of Red, opening on Saturday, June 14th at the Museum of Russian Icons, 203 Union Street, Clinton. Drawn from the private collection of Gary Hollingsworth, the exhibition includes some 55 original Soviet posters and assorted items like medals, orders, statuettes and factory banners. Exhibition will be on view through August 30th. Be sure to bring your WOO Card to save $1 off admission
 
Seeing Red
An exhibit of three of Worcester's prominent artists - Patti Kelly, Edmy Ortiz and Bayda Al-Jurdi Asbridge - will celebrate Spain with its hot summer days, orange trees, passionate Flamenco dancing and more! The diverse art in a variety of media will be on show at Nu Cafe, 335 Chandler Street, Worcester, for the month of June. Special opening reception with live music and food will be held on Saturday, June 7th from 7-9 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. Be sure to bring your WOO Card to save $1 off any purchase of $7 or more


Mah-velous Music
Ghost The Musical 
Relive the iconic and magical moments from the Oscar-winning movie Ghost in a brand new Broadway musical, Ghost The Musical, on stage at The Hanover Theatre, 2 Southbridge Street, Worcester, for six performances Thursday, June 5th - Sunday, June 8th. Singing the Blues
Paulie's 7th Annual New Orleans Jazz & Blues Festival will have Worcester's Canal District, 152 Green Street, Worcester, rocking on Friday, June 20th - Sunday, June 22nd with three jam packed days of dynamic music, food and drink of New Orleans. African Music Series
The Gallery of African Art, 62 High Street, Clinton, will host a Summer African Music Series, the last Thursday of the month for June, July & August. On Thursday, June 26th don't miss the Senegal-America Project featuring percussionist Tony Vacca and Sengal dancer Abdou Sarr. Puppy Love 
How would dear old dad like a new puppy for Father's Day? Run! Jump! Fly!
Surf, snowboard, climb canyons, practice kung fu and more all summer long at the EcoTarium's, 222 Harrington Way, Worcester, new Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action exhibit opening Saturday, June 7th. Created by the Minnesota Children's Museum in response to the U.S.'s growing obesity epidemic, the exhibit shows kids and adults alike how to have fun being physically active in a noncompetitive environment. The exhibit will be in at the EcoTarium through September 21st. Included with general museum admission. Also now open at the EcoTarium, the Tree Canopy Walkway - take a tree top walk 40 feet in the air across swinging bridges! Open weekends only through end of June. $10 plus museum admission. From Hooves to Hubcaps
From hooves to hubcaps, Old Sturbridge Village, 1 Old Sturbridge Village Road, Sturbridge, will host nearly 100 vintage autos and horse drawn carriages the weekend of Saturday & Sunday, June 7th & 8th as the museum celebrates its annual Antique Car Rally (Saturday) and Horse-Drawn Carriage Rally (Sunday). Vintage autos on display will include a 1910 Stanley Steamer, 1912 Oakland, scores of antique Fords from 1913 to the 1930s among many others, while participating horses will include Arabian, Icelandic pony, and a variety of miniature horses.
