 April 23 - May 6, 2014
Welcome to Sherwood Forest

Imagine a full house awaiting a performance only to learn the entire theatre company is a no show. So starts the 4th Wall Stage Company's updated production of the classic Robin Hood on stage at Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster Street, Worcester, Wednesday, April 23rd, Thursday, April 24th and Friday, April 25th at 6 p.m. and again on Saturday, April 26th at 2 p.m. Don't miss this hilarious tale in which the theatre director is forced to round up her loyal theatre crew - the stage manager, the sound designer, the costumer, the technical director and the UPS guy who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time - to tell the story. Many laughs, lots of adventure and swashbuckling action - fun for kids of all ages! Tickets $12 at the door, $8 for five or more. Plenty of free parking. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
Fun for First Night

They're baaaaaaaaaack! That's right - two of First Night Worcester's most popular artists are returning to Worcester for a special, one-night-only performance! Don't miss the high tech comedic and musical antics of Audiobody along with mind reader/comedian extraordinaire Eric Dittelman on Saturday, April 26th at 8 p.m. at Worcester State University's Sullivan Auditorium, 486 Chandler Street, Worcester.

Audiobody is a family-friendly, electronic-comedy duo that's been described as Blue Man Group meets modern-day Smothers Brothers, creating a spectacle of kaleidoscopic strobes, LED lights, juggling, music, contortion and hilarity. Dittleman, a Central Mass native, was a favorite on the local college and comedy club circuit before making a name for himself in 2012 as a semi-finalist on NBC's hit show America's Got Talent. Tickets available online or at the door. $15 adults, $7.50 for children 12 and under. All proceeds to benefit First Night Worcester.
Extreme
ART-ery

Spring has indeed sprung at Worcester State University Visual & Performing Arts Department - don't miss Extreme ART-ery Thursday, April 24th - Tuesday, May 6th, featuring a dynamic production of Shakespeare's classic Twelfth Night, a Student Thesis Art Show and two Choral Concerts!

With cross dressing, love triangles and hasty marriages, you could call the Island of Illyria a 19th century Las Vegas, but that wouldn't be fair to Illyria! In Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, love and comedy are the vines that weave through shipwrecks, foiled villains and mistaken identities - what happens in Illyria, stays in Illyria. On stage in WSU's Fuller Theatre, Thursday, April 24th - Saturday, April 26th at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 27th at 2 p.m. Tickets available online or at the door. WOO Card holders can save up to $4 off tickets.

The mastery shown in each senior's capstone project pierces your senses and permeates your ideas of what art can be. Don't miss the Student Thesis Art Show, featuring works by seniors Nicole Elias, Neil Comeau, Judith Haskell, Samia Karam, Marissa Phaneuf, and Arianna Silva, as they celebrate their culminating experiences at WSU. Opening reception Thursday, April 24th 5-7 p.m., on view through May 8th and May 17th, Tuesday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturdays 1-5 p.m. Admission is free. WOO Card holders can swipe for WOO points.
