The power of public art

Public art has the power to energize our public spaces, arouse our thinking and transform the places where we live, work and play into beautiful and welcoming spaces that invite pause and interaction. Public art can calm a hurried life, prompt strangers to talk and children to ask questions. Help harness the power of public art by supporting Art in the Park's 2013 Biennial Exhibit. A community fundraising campaign is now underway to raise the dollars critical to ensure this summer's successful exhibition. Donations are tax deductible through the project's fiscal agent, The Arts & Business Council. Donations, payable to ABC/Art in the Park can be sent to AIP Worcester, PO Box 20603, Worcester, MA 01602. For those interested in volunteering with the project the next planning meeting will be Friday, January 18th at 8 a.m. at the Worcester Art Museum. Additional info available by emailing info@artintheparkworcester.org Show your love!
