Father's Day Offering - Sunday, June 15th
|
We will receive our Father's Day Offering for the Grandfather Home for Children this Sunday, June 15th at the 9:55 AM Worship Service. The children served by Grandfather Home are recovering from the consequences of severe abuse and neglect. Grandfather Home provides a safe environment, loving caretakers, needed treatment and education, and opportunities for spiritual growth. The caretakers at Grandfather Home also recognize that only God can truly heal these children's trauma. Your prayer support is essential to this ministry. The government provides about 60 - 65% of the cost to care for each child. Supporting churches of all denominations help to bridge this gap through financial contributions and in-kind gifts. Your gifts are a powerful witness to God's Love for these children! In honor of your father on Father's Day consider giving a gift to help a child who has never known a good and loving father. Your gifts help dedicated Christian staff show the love and acceptance of our Heavenly Father to children who desperately need God's love and healing.

CCM Mobile Food Pantry - June 19th
|
Bethpage Presbyterian Church will sponsor the CCM Mobile Food Pantry on Thursday, June 19th, from 8:00 AM until 12:00 Noon in the BPC parking lot. Cooperative Christian Ministry conducts Mobile Food Pantries on a monthly basis in neighborhoods of high need. These highly effective food distribution programs overcome the absence of transportation for many struggling families, and provide supplemental groceries at a very efficient cost to CCM. Bethpage needs to provide volunteers to help that day from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. If you are interested, please contact Chris Ferguson at 704-680-2783.

RightNow Media - An Exciting New Educational Experience
|
As you know, Bethpage is preparing to launch an exciting new educational tool called RightNow Media. Not only will this tool save BPC thousands of dollars in CE curriculum, but it will also be available to you, at home, for your personal study needs. In order to make sure every member is invited to create their own personal log-in account, we need to make sure we have everyone's correct email address. If we do not have your email address and you would like to share in this exciting new Christian Education journey, please send your address to info@bethpagechurch.org.
Check it out yourself at this link
This technological upgrade and program will not only make learning easier at BPC but it will also be a great drawing card for children and young families looking for a church home. Maybe your Sunday School Classes is interested in sponsoring this project? Individual and family contributions are also encouraged. Just make sure you mark your check or envelope with the words - "ATV Fund" for Audio, Technology and Video Fund. Thanks!
