Welcome to Kodiak
Kodiak Island Borough Mayor Jerrol Friend joined Mayor Branson in welcoming the Board to Kodiak on September 12


Our Mission is to represent the citizens of Cook Inlet in promoting environmentally safe marine transportation and oil facility operations in Cook Inlet.
Update from the Executive Director 
The Board of Directors met in Kodiak on September 12, for the second of
Mayor Pat Branson
City of Kodiak 
three meetings scheduled for 2014. We invited BlueCrest Energy, Furie Operating Alaska, and a representative from the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation to brief the Board on their projects.  We also received a warm welcome from Mayor Branson and Mayor Friend. Read more.


Risk assessment nears completion 
The Cook Inlet Navigational Risk Assessment advisory panel met earlier this month to put the final touches on recommendations for risk reduction options and is now soliciting public comments, which will complete the project. Read more.
