2017 Committee Appointments

Our members are the best source of expertise when it comes to issues facing the industry. Participating on committees such as Membership, Non-Dues Revenue, or Governmental Affairs task forces is a chance to share ideas and concerns with colleagues and PBA leadership.

Executive Board Votes to End Marsh Health Insurance Program

NAHB's Executive Board voted to terminate the Marsh health insurance program based on the recommendation from the Health Insurance Task Force. The Task Force determined that given the current environment under the Affordable Care Act, the changing insurance marketplace and the expectations of our membership, a national program cannot be successful at this time.

The program will end on Oct. 29, 2016. Local and State HBAs with the NAHB Marsh affinity program on their website will need to remove it by that date.

West Branch Contributes to the Foundation for Housing

The West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association, a local association of PBA located in the Northcentral region, has made a sizable contribution to our PA Foundation for Housing.

At their Board of Directors meeting in late September, a motion made by Walt Nyman (a Life Director with his local, PBA and NAHB) to contribute $1,000 to the Foundation passed unanimously.
