Mayor Christopher Vergano and I are proud to be sponsoring the annual Wayne Community Forum - Let's Hear from the Kids.

This is an anti-drug initiative designed to provide parents and guardians of middle and high school students with updated information about the most current drug trends.

A letter with more details will be sent out to all middle school and high school families in a few weeks.

Congratulations High School Artists

Congratulations to Wayne Valley's Jane Lee, whose work took first place at the Congressional Art Competition. Her art will be on display at the US Capitol for an entire year. This competition is a nationwide high school visual art competition held by Congress to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district.

Last year Camila Rosario's artwork took first place and was displayed at the US Capitol. This year, Camila Rosario continues to impress and took honorable mention this year. There are many high schools that have yet to have any students place at the Congressional Art Competition. Wayne Valley is fortunate to have two students win first place in two consecutive years.
