A Reminder Regarding Unused Emergency Days and the Memorial Day Break
The district has already pre-approved a plan in the event that we do not use the allotted emergency days. The plan involves the extension of the Memorial Day break.
Currently, the district used two of four emergency days. With the two remaining, the Board approved extending the Memorial Day break to include Friday, May 27 and Tuesday, May 31. In the event that one additional emergency day is needed, the Memorial Day break will only be extended to include Friday, May 27.
Tonight, Thursday, March 31, at 7 p.m. at Wayne Hills High School, The
Tri-M Music Honor Society is sponsoring "An Evening with the Arts".
Students in all Wayne Township Public Schools will be showcasing their talents in various performances rotating on fifteen minute intervals to provide constant entertainment and a diverse representation of the arts program. Performances range from small and large instrumental ensembles to winter guards and choirs.
A $5 suggested donation will be given to The Mr. Holland's Opus Fund, a non-profit organization that collects and donates new and used instruments to schools around the nation that lack a music department.
