Board Meeting Location Change:
The location of tonight's board meeting has been changed to: Municipal Building Council Chambers, 475 Valley Road at 7:30 p.m.
Congratulations to Juanita A. Petty, Recipient of the NJASBO Distinguished Service Award
Annually, the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials recognizes a select group of administrators to receive a Distinguished Service Award. This award is in many ways a lifetime achievement award given to business officials who have a long-term record of service in the public schools of New Jersey.
The Wayne Township Public Schools are very proud to announce that School Business Administrator/Board Secretary, Juanita A. Petty, was recently named as a recipient of the NJASBO Distinguished Service Award. Congratulations on a lifetime of exemplary service!

Spotlight on the Arts
Our middle and high school students have been working tirelessly in all areas of Drama Production including acting, singing, music, art, lighting, and sound. Come out and support them as they perform in a variety of musicals.
Schuyler-Colfax - Into the Woods
Thursday, March 3; Friday, March 4; and Saturday, March 5 at 7 pm.
Tickets are $6 for students or seniors and $8 general admission. Tickets will be sold at the door night of the performance.
A witch tasks a childless baker and his wife with procuring magical items from classic fairy tales to reverse the curse put on their family tree.
Wayne Valley - How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying
Thursday, March 10; Friday, March 11 at 7:30pm; and Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $12 for students and $15 for adults.
Big business means big laughs in this delightfully clever take of life on the corporate ladder. This Tony Award winning Broadway musical is a satire of big business and all it holds sacred.
Anthony Wayne - Shrek the Musical, Jr.
Friday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door. Students may purchase tickets during lunch hours on March 9 and 10.
This family-friendly musical comedy follows the adventures of an ogre name Shrek who sets off on a quest to save a princess from a dragon. However, it turns out that in order to ultimately succeed, Shrek must battle an even bigger obstacle: Learning to believe in himself and open his heart to others.
Wayne Hills - Legally Blonde
Thursday, March 17 at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are $14 and will go on sale at the high school the week of the show.
Legally Blonde is a light-hearted and fun show about one woman's determination to succeed in the face of stereotypes about her intelligence, workplace discrimination, and personal emotional barriers to success. The show has funny one-liners, upbeat songs, and all-out dance extravaganzas that incorporate the Wayne Hills marching band drum line and the competition cheerleaders!
George Washington - The Little Mermaid, Jr.
Friday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the school starting on Monday, March 14. An additional "dress rehearsal" performance is available for parents, students, faculty and staff on Wednesday, March 16 beginning at 3:30 p.m. for a discounted price of $5.
Students are ready to dive into an underwater realm, inhabited by a committed Caribbean crustacean, an evil scheming sea witch and a sea-maiden with dreams of experiencing life on the land. Join them as they go "Under the Sea" where they have no troubles and life is the bubbles!

Camp Spa 23 Opportunity Program - Free Summer Camp for Kids In Need
Camp Spa 23, a program of Spa 23 Fitness and Lifestyle, has announced that it will offer 6 weeks of Free Camp to 8 kids in need. The Camp Spa 23 Opportunity Program is inviting area residents to nominate a child or children, between the ages of 4 and 16, who they think would benefit from a real summer camp experience, and whose family cannot afford the expense. The Opportunity Program will include 6 full weeks of camp as well as before and after care, a total value of about $10,000.
Please include the name, address, and phone number of your nominee, a brief description of how and why the child would benefit from summer camp, along with attesting to the family's financial challenges. The nomination can be submitted by regular mail to the Camp Spa 23 Opportunity Program, 381 Route 23, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444, by email to campspa23@spa23.com, or by personal delivery to Member Services at Spa 23. The deadline is May 31, 2016.
Camp Spa 23, now in its 7th year, is a 10 week NJ Certified Summer Camp featuring indoor and outdoor activities at PV Park and Spa 23, including swimming, volleyball, arts and crafts, basketball, kickball, theme parties, entertainment, field trips, extended care, and so much more.
