Spring Lake Day Camp, in Ringwood, New Jersey, was founded in 1989 and has been family owned and operated by the Kessler family since its opening. Mitchell and Michelle Kessler are proud owners of its beautiful campus, which is surrounded by the majestic Ramapo Mountains.
Spring Lake Day Camp is located on Conklintown Road between Skyline Drive and Ringwood Avenue. Our central location on the border of Bergen and Passaic counties with easy access off I-287, enables SLDC to pick up children from most areas in Bergen, Passaic, Morris, and Essex Counties as well as parts of Hudson County. It is also a quick and direct ride across the George Washington Bridge from many neighborhoods in New York City.
SLDC is a traditional full season co-ed day camp for ages 3 to 15 years with a half-day option for our youngest campers, providing door-to-door air-conditioned minibus transportation. We are THE premier camp in northern New Jersey and we are ecstatic to be celebrating our 28th anniversary this coming summer! Spring Lake Day Camp is hidden in the Highland Section of Ringwood on 30 breathtaking acres with our 40,000 square foot heated pool complex and our own private 5-acre lake for boating, fishing and zipping.
Our camp's natural beauty and outstanding grounds and facilities give our campus the sleep-away feel, perfect for our campers to experience both a day camp and a sleep-away camp without being away from home!
Spring Lake Day Camp is a special place where children experience new and exciting activities, make forever friendships, and collect a lifetime of memories that will always put a smile on their faces.
