A Thanksgiving Message from the Superintendent
Dear Parents, Students, Employees, and Residents:
Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday for a variety of reasons. It allows for two things we probably all agree that we should do more often. The first is spending "quality" time with friends and family. The second is taking time to reflect and to be thankful for the many things we enjoy. I hope you receive more than your share of both in the coming days.
I would like to take a moment to express my thanks and appreciation for the dedication and outstanding work of our 1,400 school employees. Thanksgiving is a natural time to reflect and the successful school year we are enjoying would not be possible without the effort of our employees. I would also like to thank our parents for their support of the school district and for sending your children to school every day ready to learn. We appreciate the support of our residents and for holding high expectations for your school system. For our students, I can't say enough about my appreciation for the many ways you make the Wayne Township Public Schools a great place. Whether through artwork on display in hallways, effort in the classroom, school spirit, community service, kindness toward others ... our students are constantly enhancing each school and our community.
