wayne day Wayne Day (www.wayneday.com) will be celebrated on Sunday, June 8 from 11 AM - 5 PM. Booths, rides, food, and exhibits will be available for all to enjoy. Don't forget to stop by the Wayne Township Public Schools booth to get a glimpse of what's happening in our district.

All nine Elementary School principals will be on hand to ask the question, "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?" as well as a display of student artwork.

The Technology Department will showcase how classes are using iPads to make ordinary pictures come to life through the use of Augmented Reality. There will be a hands-on demonstration to make your own pictures come to life. During the Chromebook Ed App showcase, see how the Chromebooks are being used in classes to create engaging learning spaces.

Student Support Services will be providing the following attractions:
  • Preschool Tuition Program Promotion- visit with our preschool staff and receive a complimentary bubble bottle giveaway for your preschooler.
  • Occupational and Physical Therapist-stop by to enjoy learning about and experiencing our equipment and receive a complimentary stress ball.
  • Speech and Language Specialist-come meet with some of our staff and receive a free crazy straw
  • Assistive Technology Team- greet our team and learn more about how assistive technology makes a difference.
  • Transition Team-visit us and learn all about what we can make for you in our vocational workshop

Summer Camp Summer will be here before you know it. If you haven't signed up for the Wayne Education Foundation's summer enrichment experience, there is still time left.

All Camps will be held at Wayne Hills HS the weeks of:
July 7 - 11, July 14 - 18 & July 21 - 25

Exciting camp offerings include: Art Quest, Camp Adventure, culinary arts, robotics, mad scientist, jewelry making, fitness and much more.

Last Days of School Reminders

Here are some reminders as we approach the last days of the school year:
  • June 24: minimal day for students (lunch will be served)
  • June 25: minimal day for students and the last day for students (lunch will be served)
The promotion / graduation schedule for our secondary schools is as follows:
  • June 23 - Anthony Wayne Middle School at 6:30 p.m. (WV gym)
  • June 24 - George Washington Middle School at 6:00 p.m. (WV gym)
  • June 24 - Schuyler Colfax Middle School at 6:00 p.m. (WH gym)
  • June 25 - Wayne Hills High School at 6:00 p.m.
  • June 25 - Wayne Valley High School at 6:00 p.m.
