NJ ASK 2014
Beginning next week, April 28, students in grades 6-8 will take the final year of the New Jersey Assessment of Skills and Knowledge (NJASK), the current state-wide standardized test given to all public school students.
- The NJASK is a paper-pencil assessment that is now aligned to the NJ Common Core State Standards, which define what students should be learning each year.
- It is crucial that students have had a good night's sleep, a nourishing breakfast, and arrive on time.
- In 2015, the NJASK will be replaced with the on-line PARCC assessment.
Actual Test Dates:
- Grades 6-8- April 28-May 1 (make-up dates: May 5-9)
- Grade 5: May 5-8 (make-up dates: May 12-16)
- Grades 3-4: May 12-16 (make up dates: May 19-23)
