High School Update
Recently, our high schools hosted two community forums to describe how Wayne Township Public Schools is taking on the current shifts in public education introduced earlier this year. The meetings were well attended at each high school where the administration, along with members of their staff, presented an overview of what is in place today and what is on the horizon. After a brief overview of the current state of our high school programs and student achievement outcomes, the presentation described the connections between all of the changes underway and those on the horizon. The review of course offerings, names, and the grading system illustrated our high schools' efforts to ensure greater consistency across our schools through alignment with local and state requirements. These changes have been occurring gradually over time with the upcoming program of studies for the 2014-15 school year reflecting the latest set of changes.

Budget Update
On March 13, the Board of Education held the second of two special public input sessions to gather input as we build the 2014-15 budget. Click here to download a copy of the presentation made that evening.

Anthony Wayne Spring Musical
It's almost that time of year!
On Friday, March 21st at 7:30pm and Saturday, March 22nd at 2:00pm and 7:30 pm, AWMS will be presenting its 9th annual spring musical, FAME!
Tickets will be on sale March 17th through March 20th during student lunch periods. All seats are $10 each. Hope that many of you will come out to support the annual production. Looking forward to another exciting show at AW!
