On Thursday, February 20, Wayne Valley and Wayne Hills will be hosting Community Forums to discuss the recent and upcoming changes in our high schools. High school administrators will be on hand to present valuable information and engage in dialogue with participants. In order to accomodate parent schedules, each school will host a morning and evening forum as follows.
Wayne Valley High School Forum
9:00-10:30am & 7:00-8:30pm
Wayne Hills High School Forum
10:00-11:30am & 7:00-8:30pm
Each of the forums will review recent changes to high school grading, discuss upcoming PARCC assessments, and share ideas/initiatives to best position our students/schools in the wake of new standards for instructional delivery and college and career preparedness. All of our efforts are aimed toward the same goal, so please join us to find out more.
2014-2015 DISTRICT SCHOOL CALENDAR
At the February 6, 2014 meeting of the Board of Education, the school calendar for the 2014-15 school year was adopted.
We've included four emergency days into the 2014-15 school calendar as well as outlined the contingencies if we do not use all of the days as well as if we exceed our allottment.
